Introducing Otherwise
Presented in partnership with the C Magazine, we are pleased to announce the release of a new column dedicated to conversations exploring how Black artistic practices might give shape to ways of being otherwise. How does Black art mediate relationships between aesthetics, politics, and poetics? How can it produce ruptures in colonial systems towards freedom? Otherwise will be commissioned as an exquisite corpse; the previous guest invites the next subject into an ever-evolving conversation on the stakes of Black contemporary art practices.
